"Back in 1992, I started university at Staffordshire, who where then setting up a new team ( go stallions! ), as someone who was already involved in the sport with the sadly missed Leicester Panthers I got roped into the setting up of the team as ( amongst other things) equipment manager.
For four years I would drive the minibus up to Altrincham with shopping list agreed with the union.
Every year I came back with all my needs and more to very a happy team.
Some 14 years later I still get my equipment from mike and I always will, as an 'old hand' I never hesitate to send new players to mike to get kit, his stuff is great value, he offers excellent service and you will get what you want when he says you will. Its all in stock, all over his Aladdin's cave, I've seen it!
The guy is the one of the biggest unsung hero's of football in the UK due the fact that he has continued to supply so many players through boom and (almost) bust in the sport.
